EigenLayer’s Judge Dobby: AI Governance for Blockchain
EigenLayer, a leading Ethereum restaking protocol with $13 billion TVL, has integrated an AI adjudicator named Judge Dobby, developed in partnership with Sentient. Judge Dobby aims to improve governance processes by handling complex, subjective decisions like grant allocation and open-source contribution recognition, tasks traditionally challenging for AI. Traditional AI struggles with the nuanced decision-making needed in decentralized governance, often failing to produce decisions deemed legitimate by stakeholders. Sentient's solution uses its “loyal AI framework” to address this, enabling Judge Dobby to reason through real-world governance dilemmas.
